BOY MEETS GIRL NAIL ART - ANGELICA NAIL COLOUR REVIEW - BLOSSOM, BLUEBERRY AND BOY MEETS GIRL*

If you haven't already seen my past two posts on Angelica Nail Colour here and here, have a look! Both of them are perfect for autumn. Today I'm giving you a fun and easy nail look using three Angelica Nail Colour shades! I love doing nail art, and as impressive as some nail art can be, they're not always easy to recreate so I wanted to try out some simple nail looks with the lovely shades Angelica Nail Colour generously sent me. I wished I'd picked up more of the matte glitters as they're super lovely, you'll see why in a moment...

I used two thick coats of Blossom and Blueberry to get a opaque finish which is perfect. Blueberry took quicker to dry than Blossom which I was impressed by as it's a scented polish. I tried all of the Models Own Fruit Pastel scented collection which you can read here, and the problem with those is that they were slightly streaky and needed a few coats. However Blueberry from Angelica Nail Colour applied beautifully and gave a gorgeous finish which I am incredibly impressed with! I've worn this shade alone a few times already and not only does it smell amazing for ages, it lasts ages on the nails too! I managed to get two of their scented polishes so I'll review the other one very soon. They are by far my favourite varnishes out of the bottles they sent! Blossom is a gorgeous colour also - a really pretty, elegant pastel pink with a slight dusty hint to it. This again only needed two coats and is slightly thicker than Blueberry, but this isn't a problem when you thin down the coats. Boy Meets Girl is a clear base with pastel blue and pastel pink matte glitter so I had to use this with these shades! I was so impressed with how generous the glitter is when you apply. The glitter does take a little while to dry, but most glitters tend to. I did a little dab at the end of each nail and then applied the clear Angelica Nail Top Coat to keep my nails even and glossy.

ANGELICA NAIL COLOUR - GEL EFFECT CHERRY BERRY*

I worked with Angelica Nail Colour at the beginning of my blogging life with a few of their new shades. Today I bring you 1 of their shades from their huge colour collection, after they kindly sent me ten (yup - ONE, ZERO.) shades. I'm already a huge fan of their cool colour range, their ability to keep up to date with trends and all for an amazing price tag - £2.75. They have so many shades from gel shades, scented polishes, matte glitter and other various shades so there's something for everyone. These are perfect for the nail varnish obsessed and I think they're perfect gifts for young (and older) girls! When it comes to the packaging I LOVE that the logo is printed onto the bottle. There's something about the whole clear sticker logo that really grinds on me, so top points for that!

I am seriously in love with this color! I chose this as I felt that now summer is almost over and I needed a new autumn naildrobe (Nail Wardrobe? No?). This is the perfect deep red that has some serious gloss. I'm so impressed with the finish of this as it does exactly what it suggests. I've noticed with gel finishes that they seem quite thick, and this is no exception. Since a thick formula usually comes with a gel shade, this colour only takes two thick coats, maybe even one if you're on the go. However because it's on the thicker side it does take a little longer to dry then all their other polishes. I've not had this problem with most of the shades so it has to be down to the finish of the polish. The wear on this is great as well, I got two days without chipping which is a miracle when it comes to my nails. I'm an active person so I'm constantly chipping my nail polish! I adore this shade, but you need a little patience with the formula, but the outcome is totally worth it. Look at that shine!

ANGELICA NAIL COLOURS - PILLABOX RED REVIEW*

When it comes to nail polish, I'm your girl. I am obsessed with nail varnishes (I have over 80 OPI, but we wont go into that.) and Angelica Nail Colour is my new Kyrptonite - I need every colour! We lovingly got one of these to try out in the Norwich Blogger bag which you can see here. This is by far my favourite shade of red I've had so far!

I was so surprised by this polish. It's the perfect red, and is great for adding a touch of class and fun to any look. Red is always a staple for me. At my jazz gigs I always team up with a red lip, winged liner and red nails, so this is going to carry me through all my gigs! The polish glides on the nails evenly and very opaque. I could've got away with one coat but I always go with two just to make sure. It has a lovely glossy finish too which I really like. As a waitress I not only take away the plates, we clean them too, and this got me through two whole days without chipping which really is a miracle. If you're looking for a easy, no fuss, long wearing polish, I'd recommend this! I really can't get over how much I love this polish, and I will definitely try out more of the Angelica Nail Colour range soon. NORWICH BLOGGER EVENT - WHAT WAS IN THE BAG?

The reason why we do the events is to create new friendships, and goody bags can be an added bonus. Me, Court, and Justine worked our little bums off to create not just an amazing event which I will be posting soon, but to get a good bag together. We wanted brands that we knew and loved, and brands that were new to us. We wanted people to find new and old favourites, so we had a big challenge for us. We are super proud of the outcome of the event and the bags, and the quality of both shows how much we care for our attendees. I want to say firstly, a massive thank you to all the brands that got involved. Together you created an incredible goody bag. This is just a round up of what we received, a detailed review on each product will be up in the next few weeks.

I am a huge fan of Salcura, and I've tried this brand before. When they asked if they could send out their famous repackaged Bioskin, I jumped at the chance. I couldn't wait to show off this brand. I love that they promote natural products too, which is an added bonus. I look forward to trying these out! Find more on Salcura here.

We have here the #LipGlam, Anglica Nail Polish, Fashion Fair, B., Stargazer and Crabtree and Evelyn. Firstly, Stargazer went above and beyond, sending us over 150 products. Each person gor between 3-4 products to try out which is super amazing! I will go into depth with these soon. Another brand that went all out was Angelica Nail Colours. Having blogged for them before I asked if they'd be interested, and they were! They sent out these gorgeous red polishes - review soon, it's amazing! - at the bottom there's even our #NRWsummer hashtag! Superdrug sent out some B. beauty products which is amazing, and I cannot wait to try the primer out! Crabtree and Evelyn gave us some lovely shades of polishes which I can not wait to wear in the winter months. The Fashion Fair lipstick is gorgeous! I cannot wait to share it along with the #LipGlam!

All the bloggers seem to be loving their Curaprox whitening toothpaste and toothbrush so I'm excited to try this out! I'll do a full review in a few weeks.

We have some lovely sachets from Manuka Doctor and JASON. A lovely cream cleanser and cute mini muslin cloth from Bee Good. I am so excited for this! We also have a Hemo Rose Pure Castile soap from Dr Bronner which I am also excited to try.

Derma V 10 sent out lovely boxes full of products! I am going to do a full review on these as a set soon, so hang about for that! I cannot believe these are also £1 each?! And fragrance and paraben free?!

We had Neal and Wolf at our last event, and everyone loved them! I asked if they wanted to be involved again and they did, so I was over the moon when they sent some products over. I already know I am going to love this!

The lovely girls from Just Essentials gave us some goodies, including the Amazing Shine eyelashes and MesmerEyes contacts. I've used this brand of contacts before in my Dragon Lady Halloween look. I love these contacts so I'm excited to give these a go with a makeup look, teamed with these eyelashes!

We a Hello breath spray which I love! It's so small to take on the go so it's perfect for a quick spray after dinner when on the go! Last but not least we have a Real Techniques (oh my gooooodness) brush! When I was in talks with them and they agreed to send some over, I could not believe it! I hadn't tried this brush out before so I cannot wait to give it a detailed review!

GOLD AND NUDE - ANGELICA NAIL COLOUR IN AU NATUREL

When it comes to work nails, nudes always came to mind. But for a sophisticated meal I decided to add a little glamour to a lovely nude polish. I have recently rediscovered Angelica Nail Colour since their involvement with the latest Norwich Blogger Meet. They had sent me some colours in the past so I went to my nail shelves and after playing about, I remembered how much I adore their shades. Since it's a revisit of the colour, it is no longer available, but I wanted to show off this chic design! The finish of the polish is a soft satin matte, so it has that almost matte finish.

It's a gorgeous creamy beige with a hint of pink, it really is the perfect nude! I then used Andrea Fullerton bronze for the stripes with OPI's My Favorite Ornament over the top to give it a little more sparkle. It's a really simple way to get easy chic pattern that looks like you've put the work in! I'm not exactly the steadiest hand, but when you work quick with the lines it's a little easier to get them straight! I applied two coats of Au Naturel and let them dry fully before adding the stripes. I waited between 5-10 minutes just to be sure - I always worry my nails aren't dry enough! I've worn this for a few days now and there's still not a chip in sight which is always a plus for a busy body like me. Angelica has some really lovely shades and a few different types of collections, so it's worth having a look. They're also made in the UK which is great for me. I love supporting UK brands, and also the people behind Angelica Nail Colour are super lovely, and they're been ever so great in the event and with my blog. A brand in the UK with great service and products? I will happily support that!

ANGELICA NAIL VARNISH SWATCHES AND REVIEW IN SPRING BREAK, PEPPERMINT, IBIZA SUMMER, AU NATUREL AND BRIT POP.

I was over the moon when I was 1 of 5 winners of the February Blogger Angelica competition. I was excited to see what colours I'd won. I'd only tried one of their polishes, Brit Pop, which I will be showing you in comparison to the new colour Spring Break. Angelica is a UK based nail enamel brand which supply to the high street chain that we all know and love - Primark! You can also get your fix of Angelica Polishes at their online store here. You can find out a bit more about Angelica and their range of gorgeous colours here. The lovely Francesca at Angelica included these 4 gorgeous colours. Ibiza Summer - A bright, gorgeous glossy blue. Au Naturel - A pretty nude colour, perfect for any occasion and any outfit. Spring Break - An amazing glittery combo with pretty bronzes, blues, golds and purples. Peppermint - A yummy creamy pastel mint colour.

This is Ibiza Summer. As you can tell for yourself that this colour has some serious shine. I love the finish of this and have never seen such a glossy colour. I love how bright and electric the blue is also. I was so impressed with how this came out, in just one coat it delivered such shine and colour.  For this photo I applied 2 coats just to show how intense this colour is. The wear on this was really impressive too. I'd worn it for 3 days before I tried another polish and I had no chips at all. Nothing at the tips or base - It still looked perfect! This little baby is going to be part of their Summer 2013 Brights which I am too excited for! The Summer 2013 Brights collection also has some other colours other than this pretty bright which includes a bright glossy pink, a super bright turquoise, a bright purple and a lovely bright coral.

I also applied Spring Break in a sort of gradient way on the tips.

Au Naturel is simply beautiful. This is one of their Soft Satin Matte Effect polishes. I can't get over how pretty these are. And they feel so silky too. I've used a few matte finish nail polishes before and found the feel slightly unpleasant, but these feel so smooth and lovely. This picture is with 2 coats of the creamy formula, and looks so pretty. Nude nails are going to be a hit, and with a twist on the natural nails this polish is perfect for the upcoming trend. This lasted a while on the nails too, which I was so pleased by.

This here is Brit Pop, which wasn't involved with my competition I won, but part of their 2012 Glitter collection. I wanted to show you this in comparison to Spring Break, another glitter shade which I know is going to be a hit. Brit Pop has medium sized hex glitter and small hex glitter in blue, red,  gold, silver, purple and green. This looks so lovely and is a party colour! It's perfect for Christmas time or over the top of your favourite shade. I used Au Naturel as the base coat for these glitters so you can really get the full effect of the pretty glitter.

I love Spring Break! I literally did a little squeal when I opened my package purely because of how beautiful this glittery coat is. It's a really unique glitter. it's very similar in the way of Brit Pop because of it's hex glitter. Spring Break has medium hex glitter in teal, gold and bronze. It also has smaller hex glitter in purple, blue and gold. And then tiny specs of purple and blue. I am in love! This goes on the nails so well and lasts ages too before the glitter starts catching. Another point to this shade is how easy it is to remove with nail varnish remover! No scrubbing away to get the glitter of your nails!

Peppermint was last of the 4 colours I was sent, and other than Spring Break this one is my favourite. It was so easy to apply and the creamy varnish glided on the nails. I love the pretty bright, yet pale, mint colour. This again, like Au Naturel has a lovely finish to it as it's part of the Soft Satin Matte Effect polishes which are to be released soon. This photo has 2 coats like the other photos. The Soft Satin Matte Effect collection are due out very soon, which includes Peppermint and Au Naturel, and also includes gorgeous colours in a soft blue, a baby pink and a pretty light orange.

Overall I am in love with Angelica varnishes and I am eager to try out more! Unfortunately I don't have a Primark near me so I will be buying online! I just love how perfect each shade seems to be, and how much variety in colours and textures they have. Angelica will be a well used brand from me, and at a brilliant £2.75* a bottle there's nothing to complain about!
